FIRMWARE UPDATE 1.300 Out!

Thanks for letting us know Adem (http://www.myloforums.net/showthread.php?t=950). The latest version of the Sony Mylo has just been released:

Sony eSupport states:
This utility updates the system to version 1.300 and provides the following improvements over the originally installed system software:

Adds support for Microsoft? Windows Vista? operating system
Resolves stability issues when accessing certain websites
Resolves software issues when using instant messaging applications
Support for the T-Mobile? HotSpot? service
Improves and enhances mylo Personal Communicator features
Security vulnerability countermeasures
System stability enhancements

well i am happy to see that sony at least acknowledges the mylo, but what exactly will i see in this upgrade, details seem a bit vague...where is the flash support, or an offline calendar, or email client?

i know this update only came out today (i think), but is there really much of a difference in the way the mylo works and more apps? by apps, i mean msn messenger, and things of that nature. im debating on whether or not i should update, since i do have hopes of the mylo being hacked.

i just upgraded, i dunno if there are any real differences, i quickly looked and didnt notice any. as far as homebrew and cracking goes, i would just really like for sony to let the mylo support flash and believe that in time, they will. who knows though

I just tried it. It seemed to go okay except for the hot spot database. I'm not sure how to fix that because the Jiwire site doesn't complete the install package.

Is the JiWire site messing up again! It did this a while ago, it stopped at something like 89% and just freeze. We found if you contact them directly it usually gets fixed pretty quickly. :)

Update.. I was able to complete the downloading the list from Jiwire at about 3am so I guess their server was just overloaded.

I updated my mylo but I cant find anything that was changed. What's the big deal? I wish the next update included AIM!

i was wonder did new FIRMWARE update come out yet. the 1.400 FIRMWARE update.. is it out yet..
i hope the have flash, and Aim it.. and other stuff thats useful to..

The T-Mobile HotSpot starts mid November when mid November comes go to the sony website download the code go to a HotSpot put the code in and YAY!! you have it free FOR ONE YEAR. After that you need to pay. =( But hey all good things come to an end.

anyone have network problems after the update?

i connect wirelessly but cant sign in to skype or browse the web. it kinda sucks :(

edit* nm, i just needed to adjust my ip address settings on the mylo.
