Now, the real hurdle for the Mylo is getting anything else to run on it in the first place; Sony has not made it a hacker-friendly device. Once someone figures that part out, the doors will be wide open; the Mylo already runs Linux, and most of its core devices (i.mx21) are well documented.
Writing to the NAND flash directly is my bet.
